Not an exciting city, so I did not plan to spend much time here.
Studying law in the UK, you've gotta know Luxembourg as most of the European Union institutions situated here. Particularly the European Court of Justice - the highest court in the EU, most of the cases I studied in my year 2 European Law were decided there.
In the train from Munich, I missed the station as I overslept. Luckily mistake can be rectified I still managed to get to Luxembourg in time. And in fact I was early, the tourist office was not even opened yet as it was 8 in the morning. So I had my breakfast in McD and online.
Exploration only started at 10.
Hôtel de Ville de Luxembourg - not hotel but Luxembourg City Hall
the Grand Ducal Palace
Going up or going down?
heading towards Kirchberg quarter
Fort Thüngen
Philharmonie Luxembourg
d'Coque - the National Sporting and Cultural centre
Grund - the valley settlement
Second hand food & drinks meaning...
Gare de Luxembourg - the main railway station
Subway as dinner on the train.
Luxembourg is a beautiful city. But not so beautiful under cloudy sky.
Next station: Amsterdam Centraal
