I called it the hilly city, because it is indeed, very hilly
Honestly I've never heard of this place before until I planned my journey.
The city is relatively small, so the map is easy to follow.
Once I stepped out of the station, I was attracted by Slavín - the war memorial monument, which I initially planned to ignore
climbed all the way up the hill...
panorama of Bratislava from the top of the hill
Bratislavský hrad - the Bratislava castle
Staré Mesto - the old town
Hlavné námestie ie Old town main square
Slovak National Theatre
St. Martin's Cathedral
the St Michael's Gate
the Franciscan Church and Monastery
I caught a stalker
the Primate's Palace
summer = hot weather = best time for ice cream
strawberry yogurt+coconut ice cream = yum yum yum
St. Elisabeth's Church, better known as the Blue Church
Blue church under the blue blue sky
St Ladislav's church
Church and Convent of the Order of St. Elizabeth
Grassalkovich Palace - where the president lives...
... where I spent half an hour sitting in the palace's garden
relaxed and enjoyed the sunshine
oh, Bratislava is also the city where I spent the least throughout my entire trip - €3
next station: Budapest Keleti palyaudvar
