0829 - Prague

One of the most anticipated city - Prague, Czech Republic.
It's the idol effect, you know who, yet I guess I expected too much.

The day wasn't in a good weather, dark clouds everywhere.
It was too early by the time I arrived, the tourist office wasn't opened yet, I couldn't get the map hence I couldn't find my hostel until 1 1/2 hr later.
After dropping my luggage at the hostel reception, I had my breakfast in a restaurant, mainly for battery charging as my camera and mobile were both running out of batteries.

Cappuccino+quiche zampion

National Museum at Wenceslas Square

The Fred and Ginger Dancing Building

Vltava river

the famous hence overcrowded King Charles bridge

There are 30 statues all along the bridge.
I was actually looking for this, the one with the hole where the clue was hidden, remember?

Unfortunately part of the bridge was under construction.

another side of the bridge is Malá Strana - the Lesser Town

Malostranské náměstí - the market place

apparently Prague was flooded by tourists during summer

Loreta

Prague Castle

the magnificent St. Vitus's Cathedral - where I spent half an hour standing in front of it, just looking. It's actually much bigger than what you see here.

panoramic view of town

climbed all the way up, went back all the way down

Back at the hostel to check in at almost 5

Staroměstské náměstí - the old town square and tourists everywhere
the whole day Jolin's 布拉格廣場 was spinning in my head and I guess this is it

Prague Orloj - the Astronomical Clock

people mountain people sea

Týn Church at the back

Had my dinner in a recommended restaurant - Apetit, for local Czech cuisine

Prague Plate - smoked pork neck, roast port meat, sausage, red and white sauerkraut, dumplings, potato dumplings, and potato pancakes. A very large portion which I could hardly finish.

I almost overslept in the next morning. Breakfast was provided and I checked out at 930.

Next station: Wien Sudbahnhof
