Life is full of lies.
People lie for reasons
for own good
for benefit of others
to cover up wrongdoing/mistake/embarrassment
to conceal personal feelings
to keep secret on unrevealable truth
to preserve dignity
to avoid unnecessary misunderstanding or guessing
to get rid of inconvenience
to get things done smoothly without obstruction
to spare pain
to make someone feels better/comfortable
to get attention
to fool/play pranks on somebody
Some people also lie for no reason, it's nature and they do it habitually.
Sometimes we have to lie to live, sometimes we don't.
Sometimes we can be honest, sometimes we have no choice.
White lies black lies grey lies
Some lies can be justified, some not
Sometimes lie does make things better, sometimes it doesn't.
Sometimes it makes things even worse, particularly when the lie is being discovered.
Sometimes we lie to cover up for another lie until it eventually gets out of hand.
Lies told out of kindness may be forgiven, but some hurt so much and are unforgivable.
Lying is somehow different from not revealing the truth.
Lying is a positive act in which a new false statement is being made up where as not revealing the truth is a negative act which simply means not telling anything.
and therefore lie takes more serious blame.
Everyone feels differently after telling a lie.
Some might feel extremely guilty.
Some might feel anxious and worried that the lie being revealed.
Some might not have any feelings for lying at all.
People respond differently after being cheated.
Mad angry sad heartbroken disappointed calm forgiving understanding don't mind don't care
Some might never even discovered the lie till the day they die.
Everyone lies to make life easier.
I do lie a lot
for different reasons
I'm not proud of that
but I am what I am
and I do what is necessary.
It's hard to be honest
because people don't really want to hear the truth.
