Belfast

A 3day2night trip to Belfast and Dublin in Ireland.
Belfast is part of the UK, known as Northern Ireland but Dublin belongs to the Republic of Ireland. That is why we spent British Pound in Belfast while Euro in Dublin, which is very confusing to me.
The journey began at Liverpool John Lenon Airport.

Took 45 mins to reach George Best Belfast City Airport.
So pissed that it was raining so heavily when our flight arrived and we even had to run from the plane into the airport. Headed to the city by bus, checked in to our accommodation and started exploring.

Belfast City Hall.

Brits like wheels so much, London Eye, Manchester Wheel and now Big Wheel in Belfast.

Our lunch - the so called award-winning special fry in a local restaurant. Basically 2 sausages, mushrooms, toast, egg, half tomato, bacon, potato scone and black pudding. Satisfying.

It was already 3 something when we finished our lunch. The rain stopped and we decided to visit the zoo! Yes, ZOO, with tiger lion elephant.

This zoo is special, we had to walk all the way up the hill to 'visit' the animals.

Of course, there are many animals, I just didn't bother to take photos.
Most of them are being labeled as 'In danger'. Not that they are dangerous to visitors, on the contrary, their lives are threatened as their natural habitats are being interfered and damaged by us, the mighty human being.

LOL

Back to the city at 6.

Belfast Queen's University.

Botanic Gardens, a great place for photo session.

You can see from the Clock Tower the time this picture was taken. 10 at night yet the sky was still bright.

Big fish near Titanic Quarter, the place where the Titanic was built.

High street - very busy during the day, empty at night.
