Dim sum

I woke up late today and I had my breakkie while I was skype-ing with my mom.
Initially I didn't plan to have lunch as the bowl of oat was stomach-filling. However, my friend called and asked me to go for dim sum. Without hesitance, I said yes.

Yes, it's dim sum for lunch because restaurants here usually open at 12 noon. So, we went to the Harbour City located nearby the Chinatown which offers buffet, dim sum, karaoke... in short, chinese food!

It's a very typical chinese restaurant. Many things in red and you can even see a pair of golden dragon and phoenix.

OMG I was so contented!
We (unconsciously) ordered 9 dishes of dim sum in total but we managed to finish all. It costs each of us £9. Of course it's expensive if you compare it to Msia. But i think it's worthwhile. The dim sum are delicious and big in portion. Most importantly, eating dim sum makes me feel home. And I started to miss the dim sum moments with my family and friends while I was eating. I had dim sum with my family on the day I left..

However, even though it's worthwhile, £9 is still not a small amount (I don't even spend more than £1 if I have my lunch at home!) so I think I'll only eat here once in a while.

After our lunch, we went to Liverpool ONE, a shopping paridise which is newly launched on 30th Sept. It's called a shopping 'district' so you can imagine how big it is. There are more than 160 shops and most of them are branded. Another thing to mention is, one of the architects who took part in designing this, is the one who designed our KLCC.

Miss my face?

Ok, I do look chubbier. I admit that I've been eating too much chocolates and snacks lately (and I'm eating now). Also, the meal portion I cook is usually big. That's why... but no choice la, it's very cold here, I must have enough tenaga kimia to turn them into tenaga haba so that I can keep myself warm!

Then we walked ourselves to 3 different supermarkets.
and here I found another superlambbanana, a colorful one.
